Any eggs you may find will not develop! Only healthy eggs literally adhese to the peat. Kepp the peat moister than for Nothos, store fairly warm and try after 3 months, then every 2 weeks until 6 months. Not every months as late eggs will develop immediately after a wet and die off if stored for too long then. This to me is the main reason for low hatches in Callopanchax. There are a few pops in the hobby still but sadly many have vanished simply because people treat them like Fundulopanchax which they are definitely not in any way.
